Editorial policy

Sportv US is a scoreboard first. This page explains the standards behind what you see.

Accuracy

Scores, schedules and box scores come from an established sports data provider and are refreshed automatically. Results become final only when the league marks them final; until then the status line says the game is in progress.

Time zones and game days

Games are filed under their US game day in Eastern Time, the way the leagues schedule them. Start times are converted to your device's time zone so you never have to do the math.

Corrections

If a score, a date or a team name is wrong, tell us. We check every report, fix confirmed errors as quickly as possible and, where the data provider is at fault, report the problem upstream.

Independence

We are not affiliated with any league, team, broadcaster or sportsbook, and no one pays to change how games or teams are presented. Partner links, when present, are clearly grouped in the site footer.

Neutral presentation

Games are listed away team first and home team second, as is customary in American sports, and leagues appear in a fixed order. We do not rank teams or editorialize results on scoreboards and game pages.
