Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Sportv US (sportv.us) handles when you visit the site and why.

What we do not do

There are no user accounts, no advertising trackers and no cross-site tracking profiles. We do not sell or rent personal information.

What our servers record

Like every website, our servers receive technical data with each request, such as the address requested, the time, the browser type and an IP address. We use it to keep the site running, to defend it against abuse and to fix errors. Logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.

Stored in your browser

If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage. The contact form sets a security cookie that protects it against forged submissions. Neither is used to identify you.

The contact form

When you write to us we receive your name, email address and message, and keep them only as long as needed to answer and follow up. A one-way hash of your IP address is stored with the message to fight spam.

Third parties

Team and league logos are fetched by our server and served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact the data provider. Links to other websites are governed by those sites' own policies.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, through the contact page.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change. The date of the latest revision is shown below.
